This year’s top ranked firms were chosen from 392 nominations, making it the largest program in the event’s four year history. Companies are grouped based on their number of employees, as large (more than 500 employees), midsize (101-500 local employees) and small (20-100 local employees). In 2008, Consigli earned a spot among the top ten ranked firms in the medium category. “We pride ourselves on the ability to attract and develop the best people in the industry,” said Matthew Consigli, vice president. “The award from the Boston Business Journal recognizes that focusing on your employees will enable them to advance to the next level. We’re excited about being acknowledged once again.” The “Best Places to Work” ranking is based on confidential surveys completed by employees at each nominated company. The surveys ask questions pertaining to work environment, job satisfaction, work-life balance, advancement opportunities, compensation and benefits. “This is one of our most popular events because it focuses on both employer and employees,” said Michael Olivieri, publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “We have found that achieving the title of ‘ Best Place to Work’ is something companies are very proud to achieve because it shows they care about their most important asset – their employees.” For further information contact:
