April 10, 2009 Michael Barry and Michael Culcasi combine to offer over 30 years of experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design fields. Since joining Consigli, they have been involved with clients across the academic, healthcare and corporate markets, as well as several green projects. Barry previously oversaw a design team at RDK Engineers, specializing in mechanical systems design coordination. He will lead teams at kick-off through closeout, focusing on effective mechanical designs and end-user training. Barry holds a BS degree from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Culcasi, a LEED Accredited Professional (AP), brings a diverse background to Consigli, having most recently served as an owner’s representative at Wellesley College, giving him a wide range of perspectives on the construction process and buy-out of projects. He will help teams configure M/E/P systems for clients across multiple markets, and as a LEED AP, he can identify opportunities for greater building efficiency. “Michael Barry and Michael Culcasi will give owners and end-users more resources on one project team,” said Margaret Neil, director of Consigli’s Project Services Group. “They join an already talented team of client services specialists, and will support Consigli’s diverse project base.” About Consigli Consigli, established in 1905, is a construction manager and general contractor serving academic, corporate, healthcare, and institutional clients throughout New England and New York State.
