| Consigli managed the renovation of two historic retail buildings in downtown Holyoke to create medical office space for the Holyoke Health Center as well as multiple health service tenants. As the rents generated by tenants are critical to funding the not-for-profit’s operations, the deadlines for completion were extremely high priority.
The buildings that were renovated are located in the heart of downtown Holyoke. The site offers virtually no space for staging and placement of equipment, making both the exterior work (restoration of historic facades) and delivery of storage materials critical issues in the project planning.
As part of the extensive pre-construction phase Consigli suggested and then assisted in securing Historic Tax Credits as a means of financing the project.
