Worcester Technical High School
City of Worcester

A Consigli joint venture with O’Connor Constructors constructed the new Worcester Technical High School which houses 1500 students in a five building, 400,000 sq. ft. facility. The new campus was carefully sited around valuable environmentally sensitive areas. At every turn of the project, environmental protection measures were monitored, adjusted, and documented to be sure that wetland resource areas delineated by the DEP were protected and preserved.

The site includes portions of Green Hill Park and the adjacent school site. It encompasses 21 acres with 16 acres of sports fields at the former landfill. The project added seven recreational fields to the City’s park/recreation assets in Green Hill Park. The complex also includes a 200 car parking structure.
