Plymouth Memorial Hall
Town of Plymouth

During 2002 Consigli oversaw a comprehensive program of restoration and renovations to the historic Memorial Hall in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The $5.8 million project was completed in collaboration with architect/engineer Einhorn Yaffee Prescott of Boston.

Memorial Hall is a municipally owned and managed cultural and performing arts facility. It is best known as the home of the highly regarded Plymouth Symphony Orchestra.

Work entailed a major interior restoration of a wood framed structure with plaster finish walls and ornate wood moldings. Major M/E/P and ADA/AAB upgrades were performed throughout both the Head House structure and the auditorium addition. In addition to programming changes throughout the building, a new entrance stair and four stop elevator addition was constructed within an alcove between two existing structures. The exterior work included complete restoration of all windows, masonry restoration, and restoration of the existing roofing system and wood gutter.
