Consigli provided design/build services for this warehouse and manufacturing expansion for a maker of various industrial tape and adhesive products. The design included a new primary electric and water main service to support the requirements of the equipment and highly flammable product located in the new addition. Consigli self performed the site work and concrete packages which were valued at almost $2 million.

In order to avoid owner costs to outsource warehouse space, the 9 month schedule was fast tracked to allow earlier use of product storage and office space. The building accommodates approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of 30 foot high rack storage, 20,000 sq. ft. for heavy manufacturing, 10,000 sq. ft. for light manufacturing and 10,000 sq. ft. of office space.

The site restrictions forced a complex design for foundations and structural steel requiring the storage racks to be built on the second floor. The addition was built to match Venture’s existing facility and designed for future growth if necessary. Consigli also worked with the owner to design the building in accordance with their overall plant flow, access, equipment locations and travel paths in order to maximize production and warehouse storage use.
