The first new building within CitySquare, one of the largest commercial real estate developments in Massachusetts, will serve as the new home for the 700-person Worcester office of Unum, a world leader in employee benefits.

  • The 215,000 sq. ft. base building required the demolition of an existing shopping mall encompassing an entire city block, selective demolition of an existing parking garage and extensive utility relocation to prepare the site.
  • One Mercantile Place will be comprised of precast and a glass curtain wall system, bringing ample amounts of natural daylight to employee workspaces.
  • Design and construction services target achieving LEED Silver Certification.
