BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. acquired this aging manufacturing building with the goal to create a state-of-the-art property to accommodate multiple laboratory and research tenants who wanted to be located near Kendall Square, an international center for science and research.

  • This 40,000 sq. ft. fast-track core and shell upgrade includes extensive M/E/P infrastructure, significant exterior masonry restoration and installation of new windows.
  • Interior work includes installation of new laboratory casework, fume hoods, multi-use overhead service distribution systems and adaptable program spaces.
  • A pilot program of the Universal Flex Lab concept BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. pioneered accommodates multiple laboratory and research tenants in one building.
