After an intensive planning effort, the City of Cambridge embarked on the process to revitalize this iconic school-originally built in 1933 and last renovated in 1978-for a new generation of students.

• Developed intricate phasing and logistics plan to work around fully occupied high school and adjacent occupied buildings, maximizing construction activity during school breaks
• Upgrades to campus library, arts building, and several classroom buildings included new M/E/P systems, updated fixtures and finishes, and restoration of exterior limestone/concrete façade
• Targeting LEED Silver Certification through the use of high-efficiency systems and renewable finishes
