For the seventh year in a row, Consigli Construction Co., Inc. has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe. Consigli ranked tenth in the “Large Company” category.
“Without our employees, we would not be who we are today: a construction firm proud of its quality craftsmanship, whose core values reflect family and an appreciation for community and tradition,” said President Matthew Consigli. “We have the most talented and energetic staff in our industry and this award is a reflection of our efforts to treat them that way. This is an extremely exciting time for our company and we look forward to the very bright future that we share together with our employees.”
The Globe’s research partner, WorkPlaceDynamics, ranks 125 Massachusetts employers by analyzing employee responses to a 24-question survey submitted between April and June. The confidential survey covers several different factors like benefits, management and employee engagement.
Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.
Last year, Consigli was ranked 16th in the large size employer category. The company has participated in the survey for the last seven years and has ranked in the top 20 every year.
