MILFORD, MA – Consigli Construction Co., Inc. and Babson College announced today that Amy Bowen has been named to the Board of Advisors for the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson. Bowen is currently the director of communications at Consigli and serves as the executive director of the Consigli Foundation.
The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership seeks to create a gender-enlightened business ecosystem where a diverse range of entrepreneurial leaders is encouraged to create economic and social value for themselves, their organizations and society.
Consigli believes strongly in the advancement of women in business and supports numerous women’s programs including Babson’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership and the new “Women at Wentworth” endowed scholarship program which supports women at Wentworth entering STEM careers.
“Having women in leadership positions is integral to the growth of our organization, now more than ever,” said Consigli President Matthew Consigli. “Amy’s leadership has made a company-wide impact on both our growth and culture and I am confident Babson will benefit from her contributions as well.”
“I am humbled to be selected and proud to serve on this board,” said Bowen. “I feel a personal connection to the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership, having gone through the program myself which had invaluable contributions to my own career growth. I am excited to be a part of changing the business landscape for women leaders with my involvement on the board.”
