One hundred years from now, Harvard University faculty, students, staff and administrators will find USB drives, post-it notes, movie posters and academic documents, among other 21st-century items, in a time capsule Consigli workers recently installed in an outside wall at the Tozzer Library.
This milestone event is part of the work Consigli is completing at Harvard for one of the world’s largest anthropology research libraries.
The gut renovation, reskinning of the façade and integration of a two-floor vertical addition will unite archaeologists in the Peabody Museum with anthropologists when both relocate to Tozzer upon completion next spring.
The project includes a chilled beam system and is targeting LEED-NC Gold Certification.
