Consigli Named a “Top Place to Work” by The Boston Globe for 12th Consecutive Year

MILFORD, MA – Consigli Construction Co., Inc. has been recognized as a 2020 “Top Place to Work” in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe.  This year’s award marks the twelfth consecutive year that Consigli has received this honor, making it one of the longest running companies to be a part of this prestigious list.  The winners were announced virtually on November 19th, 2020.

“This year has definitely encouraged us to think differently about our typical work environment. Despite the need for social distancing, it was the emphasis on social connectedness that really strengthened us. The antidote for our anxiety this past year was our care for one another. That makes this honor even more special. It’s a privilege to work alongside all those who are part of this family.

Matthew Consigli

President of Consigli Construction Co., Inc.

Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them best—their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.

Consigli was a strong contender for this award because of its employee-centric benefits plans and company perks, including paid volunteer time, gym membership reimbursement, and employee stock ownership plans. The company’s focus on creating a culture of accountability and safety, supporting the health and wellness of its people and their families, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance also contributed to this recognition.
