Hackley School’s Walter C. Johnson Center for Health and Wellness Honored as a Best Project by Engineering News and Record

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY – Our project, Hackley School’s Walter C. Johnson Center for Health and Wellness, has been honored by ENR New York with a best project award under the K-12 Education Facility division. The two-story 115,000-square-foot facility houses Hackley’s physical education and athletics programs, as well as the school’s growing wellness programs, including mindfulness and meditation practices, nutrition education and yoga. The state-of-the-art complex includes a cardio fitness center, three basketball courts, an eight-lane pool, eight squash courts, a fencing studio, a wrestling room, a free weights room, a modified indoor track, three classrooms, a wellness studio, a teaching kitchen, a concession stand, locker rooms, office space and common areas.
