The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts is a premier concert hall on the campus of Long Island University. Originally built in 1973, Tilles Center underwent a major renovation which included the installation of a custom glass exterior wall and high-end interior finishes.
Tilles Center hosts more than 70 performances each season by world-renowned artists in music, theater and dance. The main concert hall now accommodates more than 2,200 guests and features performances such as fully-staged operas, ballets and Broadway shows; the smaller, more intimate Hillwood Recital Hall seats nearly 500 guests for performances such as cabarets, solo recitals and amateur theater productions.
