Guru Bar
Project Overview
- Interior renovation of a high-traffic area on an active corporate campus
- Creation of a secure, tech-enabled workspace for operational efficiency
- Construction executed with minimal disruption to ongoing business operations
A confidential global financial services firm is implementing a series of targeted campus improvements to enhance the functionality, security, and productivity of its workspaces. As part of this broader initiative, this 1,000 sq. ft. renovation converted an existing space into a modern, tech-forward work room that supports employee connectivity and daily operations.
The renovation included full gut demolition of interior walls, ceilings, finishes, and MEP systems. The reimagined layout features a secure technology work room with key-card glass access, custom millwork, and integrated shelving. Electrical and data systems were enhanced with wall-mounted “wire mold” systems to ensure efficient cable management.
High-end finishes and custom design elements were selected to align with the firm’s performance standards. New open-concept service space includes new HVAC, fire protection, “Guru” service desks with power and data, black acoustical ceiling panels with LED “Striplight” pendants, and a three-dimensional ornate acoustical wall panel system.
