Project Overview

  • Potential task order projects will range from $150,000 to $30 million and encompasses the John F. Kennedy Center’s 1.5M sq. ft. space

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is comprised of over 1,500,000 sq. ft. of space including 55,000 sq. ft. of office space, nine theaters, two restaurants, nine special event rooms, five public galleries and exterior performance terraces. Consigli has an ongoing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the Kennedy Center. All projects will require careful planning, coordination and communication with the Kennedy Center staff to ensure that operations remain uninterrupted throughout the contract.

Our current project under the ID/IQ involves the reconfiguration of approximately 8,000 sq. ft. of space in the main atrium of the occupied Kennedy Center into a museum-like exhibit in honor of John F. Kennedy. The atrium will serve as a flexible space, hosting interactive exhibits, receptions and small performances. Project scope requires mechanical, electrical and infrastructure upgrades associated with the new exhibit and AV equipment.
