For an improved office environment aligned with Sappi’s workplace standards, Sappi relocated its South Portland operations to an upgraded space in Unum’s H01 building. Features of the new space include versatile working spaces such as small huddle rooms, private booths, phone rooms, a shared kitchen and a flexible training room convertible for larger events.

The remainder of the building, including tenant spaces on the third level adjacent to the construction area and on the second level below, remained occupied during the project. Careful coordination between Consigli and project stakeholders ensured that invasive construction operations occurred at times that would the least impact building occupants.
