Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global leader in business strategy and consulting, expanded its footprint in Durham, NC, with a new office that reflects its commitment to supporting innovation and growth in the region. Known for delivering top-tier advisory services, BCG’s new space was designed to create a world-class workplace for its teams.
The project involved a full gut demolition of a former law office and a complete buildout tailored to BCG’s high standards for technology, soundproofing, and functionality. Advanced soundproofing solutions were implemented throughout offices and conference rooms to meet stringent acoustic standards. The space also features cutting-edge AV and technology systems, which represented a significant portion of the budget.
Consigli provided extensive preconstruction, constructability, and value management services to ensure the project was delivered efficiently, with solutions tailored to budget and schedule goals. The team successfully navigated unique challenges, including proximity to an active AAA baseball park, no adjacent laydown area, and fully occupied floors above and below.
