The existing 35,000 sq. ft. Scheele Library Building was completely renovated to develop a learning space for the next generation of world-class health professionals. The facility provides new simulation and health sciences labs—including assessment labs and a bedside skills lab—classrooms, study carrels, faculty collaboration spaces breakout seats, group study rooms, lounges, and building support facilities and systems. Additionally, the building houses amenity spaces with multiple student lounge areas, café/vending areas featuring custom cabinetry and wood wall finishes, floating ceilings, and a large conference space with collapsing walls that can be converted into smaller seminar spaces. The school focuses on collaborative healthcare education, modern workforce development and community care.
