Town of East Greenwich
District-Wide School Improvements
- Design-build delivery of district-wide school improvements including replacement or modernization of four facilities
- Thorough survey and assessment of existing conditions at the beginning of planning and design to ensure successful coordination of infrastructure
- Planning and implementation of scheduling-saving strategies to support an aggressive project timeline and maximize project budget
To provide modern educational spaces aligned with the District’s Strategic Plan and 21st century teaching and learning, the Town of East Greenwich called for a significant design-build effort to improve the Town’s schools district-wide.
The four-school project includes a mix of new construction, renovation and expansion to support district reconfiguration, additional space requirements and building consolidation. Frenchtown and Hanaford Elementary Schools will be replaced entirely with new facilities, and both will host Physical Education fields for the district. Meadowbrook Farms and East Greenwich High School will undergo renovations including deferred maintenance work. The high school will also be expanded for spaces that support the school’s 21st century curriculum.
